I've had a lifelong fascination with horses and farm animals, fueled by jealousy that all of my grandparents and cousins were lucky enough to have them on their farms. But, alas, I was a city girl. I figured if I couldn't have them I could draw them! I remember pinching pennies to purchase the first book I remember buying, "How to draw a horse". After that, the rest is history. I also enjoy painting all kinds of animals and birds that I come across in my journeys. I live by a lake so even on a neighborhood walk I will see beautiful creatures - ducks, bald eagles, great blue herons, fox, deer, you name it. I also enjoy exploring national parks and forests and am always stunned by the beauty of the amazing creatures that I meet in these treasured locations.

And, don't worry, there is appropriate supervision in the studio at all times.

You may have seen my work at these and other
